BEST BLUE CHEESE ON LACTIUM VIC 2018

The cheese has been awarded in the annual contest of the sample of artisan cheeses of Catalunya Lactium.
 
On the weekend of May 12 and 13, the artisan cheeses show at Catalunya Lactium was held in Vic. More than 40 cheese makers from all over the country gathered, with a handful of incredible cheeses made from different types of milk.
 
Within the framework of the sample, the annual Lactium contest took place, in which 55 experts choose and select cheeses from a group of more than 200 different types and look for the best of each one of the categories.
 
This year, Cheeses Montbrú obtained the first position in the category of blue cheeses, with his Blue Cabra, and, therefore, won gold, which is positioned as the Best Blue Cheese of Catalonia 2018.
 
From Montbrú they want to thank each other for the commitment and trust they receive every day in their work, since they have been rewarded with this special and important prize for them. Congratulations!
